Come witness the magic of Akshai Sarin!

When we were 16 years of age, most of us were just getting initiated to the world of music discovering previously unknown genres. But, not Akshai Sarin a.k.a. ax/ai, Rebirth of DuB. At the tender age of 16, Akshai already had a massive international album release to his credit. Also since the year 1990, Akshai has been honing his skills on the Tabla and the piano and in the year 1996 he constructed his own turntables and mixers as well. A decade has now gone by, and Akshai’s music has growth both in popularity and skill. He is also a man of many other firsts. He is one of the youngest Indian acts to headline alongside the crème-de-la-crème of international artistes. He has received coverage from prestigious channels like BBC 'Radio ONE' and has set fire to every stage he has performed on, right from Serbia to Sydney! Travelling and performing all over the globe and sharing the stage with artistes like The Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Armin Van Buuren, No Doubt, The Chemical Brothers, Deadmau5,Jamiroquai, etc is a dream come true for any young performer on the international circuit. Akshai has managed to turn this dream into hardcore reality. From the F1 Rocks Formula1 festival in Singapore to high profile Calvin Klein fashion shows in Paris, Akshai Sarin has done it all. He has also managed to pull off double platinum collaborations in nations like the Philippines and more. His musical genius has also touched the fascinating world of Bollywood.

His debut album “Connected” releases on Universal Music/Contrabass Records and his previous releases are available in stores worldwide on SonyBMG, Armin Van Buuren’s Armada imprint and DJ Tiesto-founded Black Hole Recordings.

Just last year, Akshai was invited to be a part of The London Olympics Walk-A-Mile event hosted by Hillary Clinton. He was also invited as a panelist and performer at the International Music Summit Ibiza along with other international celebs like Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Above & Beyond and Gorgio Moroder, to name a few.

And now, Akshai is bringing his musical brilliance to Shiro’s to get ‘Connected’ with you guys on the 16th of March, 10 pm onwards. Making a special appearance with him will be Eddy Good from Global underground/Pacha Ibiza fame. With the superlative food and the music, could the 16th of March get any better?
