Inspired by the fiery orient, the
new menu at Shiro offers 44 new items, an
eclectic mix of Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai gastronomy.
The range of Dim Sums, Sushi,
Sashimi, Maki, rice, noodles and desserts showcase the diversity and intricacy
of Asian cuisine. The recent addition to the Japanese cuisine, Teppan-yaki, is
a must try. It's indeed an entertaining dinner show with great food!
To create a buzz about the menu,
we took it online and leveraged our social platforms. We conducted a
fun, unique and challenging contest: #TasteOfShiro on 22-23 July, 2013 on Facebook and Twitter. We were truly
overwhelmed with the amazing responses.
It trended widely on twitter with 239 Retweets. On Facebook,
we were thrilled with the enormous engagement with several likes, comments and
shares. The total number of mentions was 983. Congratulations to the participants:
The contest involved guessing the total number of new
additions in our new menu using the #Taste
of Shiro hashtag. Two lucky winners from
each city: Delhi and Mumbai got a chance to be a part of the tasting spree at
our outlet.
